The challenge was twofold: how to convey the enormity of the story without overwhelming people with information;

and how to bring the gravity of the story

to full effect against the peaceful backdrop of the cemetery grounds. GTOO Media designed a blend of exhibit media with dramatic accounts of timeless connection bridging then and now with stories and context that honor the sacrifice and legacy of D-Day veterans. In addition to more than a dozen short films, a long film "Letters" reveals a first person narrative from five soldiers buried in the cemetery. A powerful interactive database was developed providing visitors with access to all 179,000 Americans buried at American Battle Monument Commission cemeteries like Normandy around the world.
